Ordered online as usual, specifically to use the offered discount code but charged full price when arrived at the shop only to be told that the code must not have worked (although it appeared to when placing the order) and some nonsense about commission that needs to be paid by the shop. Tough luck. I always pay with card via the website but today had cash to cover only the discounted amount so chose that option. There is even a sign in the shop saying you prefer cash. But on arrival was forced to use my card anyway because of the error. As a customer, a regular customer, I don't care about commission, I care about good food (which has sadly declined recently, especially the fish), value for money and service. No assistance or apology at all offered in store. If fact, the attitude was appalling. Why on earth would I order online only to come to the shop to pay full price with my card when I could have paid less with my card online? It makes no sense, but it didn't matter. It may only be £2.60 but that's not the point. I left feeling let down and actually pretty annoyed. Didn't really enjoy the food as a result and I won't be back. Thanks for the memories.

I only managed to eat one slice of the pizza, the base was like cardboard but that may have been because the pizza was burnt so the ham on top was like toast. I still have it all if you want to see it

Donner kebab was as lovely as ever. We got a chilli garlic bread and it was dry and crusts too hard to eat which was disappointing as the food is always lovely from Ritz . Will still be ordering again

The chips were hard and dry. They’d probably been kept too long. Not very nice. Disappointing. We won’t be ordering this close to closing again!
